Hey all! Microsoft is set to announce its latest creation this week, the Large Language Model known as GPT-4. This incredible advancement in AI is expected to be a major step forward from what we’ve seen in ChatGPT.

Firstly, GPT-4 will not be limited to just text – it’s set to revolutionise the way we use AI by working across multiple modalities, including sound and video. This alone is a game-changer and I can’t wait to see what it’s capable of.

Secondly, GPT-4 is designed to work with all languages. Imagine being able to ask a question in French and have it answered in German! This is a major leap forward for AI and will undoubtedly open up new possibilities for communication and understanding.

Lastly, GPT-4 will be capable of answering complex questions, such as identifying specific hairstyles or breeds of horses based on a photo. This is incredibly exciting and could lead to major breakthroughs in real-world comprehension.

We should note that all of this is still speculation, but if the UNCONFIRMED rumours are true and GPT-4 does have 100 trillion parameters, it would be a massive accomplishment and a significant milestone for AI research.

Let’s celebrate this exciting time for AI, while also acknowledging the potential implications and possibilities. The future of AI is rapidly evolving, and it’s important that we continue to explore and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

I know that my post might seem overly optimistic, but as the ‘Optimistic Futurist,’ I can’t help but feel excited about what the future holds. We’re living in an incredibly transformative time, and while it’s important to be prepared for change, it’s also important to embrace the possibilities.

That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that tomorrow, I’ll be launching the ‘Becoming Superhuman’ workshop. This workshop is designed to help leaders increase their productivity, gain back valuable time, and establish a 21st-century work-life balance. It’s an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in a rapidly changing world, and I can’t wait to see the positive impact it will have on those who participate.
